"In an over-saturated market, we're going back to basics, back to why we got into the business, back to the glory days of Hollywood with this," Syndicate Hospitality Group's Tony Daly tells us today with the grand opening of the group's newest Hollywood nightlife venture just hours away. Tonight, Eden joins L.A.'s flossy nightclub-soaked landscape and we got Daly on the phone to answer how his latest production will be different. More»
For the degenerates like us who want to test their nightlife acumen, riddle me THIS: it's the type of place you go on a night you really want to go out. Or bro out. Or both. This Hollywood destination gives all the boys and girls a place to beat up that beat and pop bottles into the wee hours. More»

When we arrived at the opening of new Hollywood nightclub, Roxbury, last Tuesday night, we were pretty disappointed to find that there were no Steve and Doug Butabi impersonators in sight. Not a single one! Or even a sideways head-bob in their honor. More»

It's true. Sometimes we seem dead inside, but an observation of the week proves otherwise. Apparently they were giving away iPads or some of the Pitt-Jolie babies or something at Las Palmas because we haven't seen that caliber of mob scene to get in since it opened. More»
I've been doing roundups of all the wonderful things I learned as a native Angeleno during a recent trip to NYC but felt this particular adventure to the basement of the former CBGB should stand alone. For the second night in a row, the sect of L.A. kids who look a half-tick away from homeless save for their boots you saw at Barney's proved they're the true warriors of this city. Not even a massive rainstorm could keep them from hitting the dance floor at Hemingway's and Trousdale with Mickey Avalon and Santa last night. More»
[Photo via] Portrayed as a sexual deviant's bondage dungeon by the media during the RNC scandal, the rest of us know Voyeur is just another Hollywood club with a bondage-theme featuring masked, mostly naked girls dancing suggestively in compromising situations. Despite the club not being the type of place where you need a safety word and a paddle, it does seem to attract clientele with an appetite for giving and receiving abuse. More»
I've been continuing my adventures in NYC during my stay here and learning more and more about how this town works. If you missed the 10 things I learned in one night out, check it out—valuable information all Angelenos coming here should know. What I've been finding is, for as many differences between L.A. and NYC's nightlife culture there are, we have just as much in common. More»
Greetings from NYC! In the few outings I've made, I feel like I've gotten considerable insight into the differences and many similarities between our hometown and east coast sister city's nightlife.
And look who else has been SHOWINGHIMSELF around town who I found TWICE since I've been here--Nicholas Loren Foster! Here's a bit of what this Angeleno learned last night at some place called KENMARE. More»
