BREAKING: Suge Knight Is NOT In Jail, Parties For NYE At The Roosevelt

Suge Knight

Death Row in the house! The Roosevelt got a little 'hood this weekend when THE Suge Knight came out for the hotel-wide New Year's Eve party, prompting a resounding wait, he's not in prison?? reaction in all who were there and probably anyone who's seen this photo. Nope, Suge Knight is a free man, just like YOU. In fact, he goes to TEDDY'S.

Go HERE for more photos by Steven Meiers from NYE at The Roosevelt and tag yourself and your friends!

Here he is in all his regalia and fantastic bathroom wallpaper motif button-down ringing in 2011 poolside at Tropicana. Has this notorious thug given up his gangsta ways for a reformed lifestyle amongst white kids who have never been within a 10-mile radius of the CPT? Probably not... but wouldn't that be fun?! Like if he came to Bardot tonight and I sat on his knee as he shared stories with all of us about being in prison or pistol whipping bitches? "Uncle Suge" we'd call him.

Let's hope that thing they say about how you spend New Year's Eve determines what you'll be doing the rest of the year is true, because that would mean we have even more to look forward to in 2011 with Suge Knight as a regular at our favorite hangouts. Maybe he'd even—damn, I hope I don't jinx it!—let us be in his posse and we could all be friends and, like, text each other and stuff!

Everyone cross your fingers for Summer '11 Nightswims featuring Special Guest DJ Uncle Suge!

I find this post a little insulting. Suge goes out all the time. All the time. Just because you saw him out once makes it a headline? He is out at least three times a week. So because he's black he is supposed to be in jail? What's the point of this post?

@adam: ...um, no, he's supposed to be in jail because he's a violent career criminal. HELLO!

That's for a court to decide and not you. This post is offensive and quite possibly racist. Knight was arrested on Dec. 4 on an outstanding warrant for driving without a license and did one night in jail, if that. Hardly a proven "violent career criminal."

@adam, the point of this post is Suge Knight, the notoriously violent and universally reviled former head of Death Row Records who is in all likelihood the man responsible for the deaths of Tupac and Biggie, was seen chilling not as his usual haunts but at at motherfucking Teddy's, which usually attracts the polar opposite type of people, i.e. hipstery white kids 20 years younger than him who know zero lyrics to more than 3 rap songs. If Justin Bieber was going super hard to a Gaslamp Killer set at Airliner it would be similarly noteworthy for its WTF factor -- don't see how this article was remotely racist or problematic, you're touchy!

Hmmm. Touchy "Nico" and "Danzig?" I guess I'd be too if I were defending a horrible post as the above. The basic fact is this: Suge goes out all the time. It is not surprising to see him at a place such as the Roosevelt at all. In the last few months, I have seen him at The Mondrian, Drai's and even at a nice restaurant that shall remain nameless in Beverly Hills. And you are a fucking fool if you think that Teddy's attracts "hipstery white kids 20 years younger than him who know zero lyrics to more than 3 rap songs." Every single time I've been to Teddy's in the last month (over 5 times) I have heard Jay-Z. And all the cool kids knew every word to every song. Lots of rap gets played at Teddy's all the time. And as for your assertion that Suge "is in all likelihood the man responsible for the deaths of Tupac and Biggie," well, I'd say stop reading gossip websites as you really have no fucking clue who killed Biggie. Were you there that night when Biggie was killed riding shotgun at Wilshire and Fairfax? No? Then shut the fuck up. The LAPD if they had a case would have brought it years ago. You don't know who killed Biggie. I don't know who killed Biggie. The cops don't know who killed B.I.G. Leave the speculation to the BS blogs, one of which is apparently this one. I am so tired of people who just throw around murder changes so casually.
