Olivia Jade Was On The Chair Of The USC Board Of Trustees' Yacht When The News Broke

    Oh how very interesting.

This week's trending scandal (which, for once, doesn't technically involve a Trump, although, come on) has gotten a whole lot juicier. By now we all know that the FBI has indicted around 50 rich people, including actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman, for college admissions fraud - the largest bust of its sort in U.S. history.

If you've been following the story, you may also be familiar with Loughlin's daughter, Instagram influencer and YouTube star, Olivia Jade (who once made a video complaining about have to go to college in the first place). She's a freshman at USC, which has publicly stated that it was accused of no wrongdoing and that the "illegal activity was carried out by individuals who went to great lengths to conceal their actions from the university."

Hmmm. Ironically enough, however, when the news about the indictment broke, Olivia Jade just so happened to be sailing away for spring break on the yacht of elected chair of the USC Board of Trustees, Rick Caruso. According to TMZ, Caruso's daughter, Gianna, is close friends with Olivia. Unfortunately for everyone on the yacht, the scandal quickly brought them back to shore - and reality.

Caruso told TMZ, "My daughter and a group of students left for spring break prior to the government's announcement yesterday. Once we became aware of the investigation, the young woman decided it would be in her best interests to return home."

What a shame. Some time on the boat would have given Olivia plenty of time to practice her rowing.
