And then there was that uncanny faux Prada ad some genius Photoshopped and posted online that faked everyone out a couple of months ago. The thing about it was, Lana Del Rey would be the face of Prada—their marketing people would totally bust that maneuver. Plus, to everyone who was even a little bit tuned in to the Lana hype and knew what she looked like, it was only a matter of time before she added "model" to her resume. Sure enough, a little over a month after the counterfeit Prada ad, Lana was signed by Next Models.

Ugh, I can't help it. Im bored to death. It's like "daddy, buy me a hit record" oh "and I'm cross eyed!" Okay, she probably didn't say the second part, but hasn't anyone noticed???? The droning songs, the overplayed video; yawn, yawn yawn... I hope Lana Del Rey, marries a nice investment banker and moves to, oh, I don't know, somewhere like Marina Del Rey where she can blend in with all the soccer moms, which is exactly what she was raised to be.
