But before we rush out to bury poor Lana, let's exercise some restraint. First, it's "SNL," a rushed, over-managed studio behemoth that's destroyed
plenty of artists in the past, without even getting into the
infamous Ashlee Simpson lip-sync incident. Secondly, regardless of how much her performance skills and confidence clearly need a boost (and to be fair,
reports from other, smaller shows are far more complimentary), her songs are still pretty unimpeachable, meaning you should still be excited for the upcoming album. Not to speak ill of the dead, but it's not like Amy Winehouse was known for her stellar live shows, either.
