At CHAMPS Charter High School of the Arts - Multimedia and Performing in Van Nuys, at-risk kids from the Valley and other parts of Los Angeles receive a free education with access to intensive vocal and instrumental and performance arts training. They have opportunity to hone their craft while producing music, concerts, and performances. Last night, CHAMPS students got to exhibit their incredible talent and hard work in the Music Academy Fundraiser held at Avalon Hollywood. With 700 friends and family in the audience who came to support the program, students presented vocal, instrumental, dance and even magic performances. As the stars of the night, the young performers strutted the red carpet like Hollywood pros.
