Slide #1

Erica Cisneros, Kate Kalinowski Downtown L.A.'s 333 Live was transformed into part runway fashion show and part art exhibition on Friday for the "Art Hearts Fashion" pop-up event. Produced by Erik Rosete and hosted by PopUp Republic, the event showcased fashion-inspired art on display in an exhibition with works by artists such as Sham Ibrahim, LilliPop Fauxtography, Lisa Reilly, and Graphics Metropolis. The relationship between fashion and art was further reflected in a Tumbler and Tipsy art fashion installation by designer Michael Kuluva, as well as a runway show featuring the art-inspired looks of designer Stevie Boi, with makeup provided by AJ Crimson cosmetics applied by makeup artists Edgar Arreola and Erik Torppe, and hairstyling by Iyana Winfield and Daved Munoz. The fashion show was followed by a very special live musical performance by Interscope recording artist Colette Carr as guests enjoyed Neo Water ("The Smarter Water"), relaxing Zenify beverages, and hors d'oeuvres by chef Lovely. To cap off the night, an after party where artists, models, guests and everyone else who helped make the event possible could let loose came courtesy of Space Ghetto. Among the notables in attendance at "Art Hearts Fashion" were Perez Hilton, Gloria Govan of VH1's "Basketball Wives," designer Bobby Trendy, model Mynxii White, model Amelia Nightmare, model Ulorin Vex, musician Bo Toxicuh, musician Ricky Rebel, Jeremy Copeland, Olympian Russ Witherby, and artist Clara Berta.
