Slide #1

Since landing in Culver City a little over a year ago, Blind Barber has been offering L.A. a different kind of barbershop experience thanks to a speakeasy bar in the back that stays open well after the shaves and haircuts are done for the day. With NYC roots where the first Blind Barber opened in 2010, owners Adam Kirsch, Jeff Laub and Josh Boyd are proud of their move out west a year later and grateful L.A. welcomed them so warmly, with Laub saying, "None of us knew really knew what to expect but were greeted with open arms and truly felt a part of our new 'hood." To ring in its first birthday, Blind Barber hosted a friends and family celebration last night where guests enjoyed delicious cocktails prepared by studly bartenders, chowed down on their specialty grilled cheeses and danced in the wee hours. The party was also treated to a sexy dance routine by a pair of ladies who performed atop the bar in denim short-shorts à la Coyote Ugly. A stacked DJ lineup featuring the turntable stylings of As Is, So Super Sam, Lindsay Luv, Ian Boyd, Ted MF and Marshall Barnes, plus an impromptu set by Samantha Ronson kept the crowd bouncing until closing.
