Slide #1

Yes, despite the all-consuming nature of NYFW, FENDI and Maxfield joined forces to turn out Baguettemania, a stylish soiree at the premier high-end boutique in West Hollywood last night. The occasion celebrated the 15th birthday of the Italian fashion house's iconic "Baguette" handbag and launch of the Baguette pop-up shop at the store, open now through October 6. Hosted by Silvia Venturini Fendi and Maxfield's Tommy Perse, the guests helped toast the arrival of Baguettemania on Melrose with a viewing of the artist Baguette exhibition and auction over champagne hor d'eouvres. And even though they may be jumping ship to join the NYFW madness, an eclectic mix of local legends such as Michael "Mr." Chow, James Goldstein, Peggy Moffitt, and MOCA's Jeffrey Deitch stepped out in their L.A. 85-degree September finest. Rounding out the night were other stylish notables such as Mena Suvari, Kat Graham, Abigail Spencer, Lydia Hearst, Brad Elterman, Allison Janney, Shannyn Sossamon, Maria Luisa Perse, Margot Stilley, Lady Victoria Hervey, Mark Goldston, Nancy J. Goldston, Bettina Korek, Brooke Davenport and many others. After countless bottles of champagne and taking in plenty of Baguette-inspired art, Baguettemania guests were sent off properly with truffles, FENDI-decorated cookies and goodie-bags.
