Though the 4th Annual Taste Awards featured such spicy award categories as "Breakout Fashionistas of the Year" and "Outstanding Advanced eBook" (
Lincoln got snubbed), there were more traditional honors such as the best food program on TV (which went to "
America's Test Kitchen") and best fashion program on TV (which went to the old stalwart of conservative fashion values "
What Not to Wear").
However, we think this awards show deserves some recognition itself, putting radio and internet shows on the same stage as their bigger and better-funded TV cousins, resulting in added exposure for smaller star dishes such as "
Nadia G's Bitchin' Kitchen," which took home "Best Comedy." To cap off the evening, attendees and winners enjoyed a celebratory after party with dancing, drinks and of course some tasty treats.
