Slide #1

The studio bounced with positive energy and beachy outfits as guests at the opening reception for Alberto Gugliemi's "Surfer DNA" mingled with the models and downed Barefoot Wines and Vita Coco. Editor-in-Chief of FOAM Magazine Sari Anne Tuschman rocked some fierce red heels in front of her Surfer DNA portrait. Meanwhile, Editor-in-Chief of The Inertia Zach Weisberg was seen laughing with friends all night and actor Michael Roark (Magic Mike) was spotted sneaking in a selfie with his shirtless surfing portrait (and we all swooned). On display throughout the gallery were Guglielmi's photos which reflect how surfing is more than just something his subjects do, but is part of their genetic makeup, hence "Surfer DNA." The stunning portrait series depict surfers and people associated with surfing with surfboard fins protruding from their bodies. Models included surfer and founder of Calavera Swimwear Anna Jerstrom, surfer John Moore, surfboard shapers Guy Okazaki and Wayne Rich, AnnaSophia Robb, chef Sam Talbot, designer Cynthia Rowley, Vogue Bookings Editor Valerie Boster, and actors Casper Zafer and Kyle Howard.
