Last night, Design Within Reach in West Hollywood hosted the opening night of Muhammad Ali: "1977," Michael Brennan's famous portrait series of the ring champ and fellow boxing legends of the era.

The Beverly Blvd home furnishing outpost opened its doors after hours for a very special opening reception of the celebrated British photographer's legendary images of "the greatest" boxer of all time in his "1977" series. Guests were invited out to the exclusive event with the National Portrait Gallery Artist in attendance at the store for cocktails, and a first look at the exhibition displaying portraits of Ali, as well as George Foreman and Sir Henry Cooper. Ranging from small to larger-than-life close-ups displayed throughout the space, the night afforded guests the rare opportunity to engage with the legendary works, and the man behind them. A portion of proceeds from the event benefited the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center Movement Disorder Clinic.

Muhammad Ali: "1977"  will be on display at Design Within Reach until next Thursday, November 17, so make to get there and check out these iconic images before it's too late.
