Last week fashionistas and other such tastemakers came together for a private event at Palihouse to celebrate the collections of hosts Katy Rodriguez, Gregory Parkinson, Jerome Rousseau, and Emily Jerome for Fall 2010.
The hosts made sure to keep the guest list a stylish and fashion-minded bunch. Among those who dropped in to support were actor/designer Waris Ahluwalia, Mickey Madden of Maroon 5, Jasmin Shokrian, Resurrection's Erin Malone, and Details Magazine founder Annie Flanders.
It's nice to see such cohesive, encouraging relationships between those who are essentially competitors in a notoriously cut-throat industry as fashion. "We have to support each other!" exclaimed Jerome, as he expressed the intention of the collaborative event.
The designer is known for his towering heels that give a girl that mix of confidence in her appearance and anxiety over each step she takes so as not to trip, lose balance, or twist and ankle. So embarrassing when that happens, but it does. All the time. That's a risk we're willing to take for the sake of wearing a hot outfit. All in the name of fashion and looking great like these folks.

We sat down with Anne Pasternak for a few questions about Creative Time's past and future, as well as the importance of having an awareness about public art in the city.
