KCRW and The Hammer are proving their widespread success and popularity with their summer series "Also I Like To Rock".  Since last week's installment, KCRW fans and music lovers alike impressively filled the garden at The Hammer Museum to enjoy fine art, refreshments, and the tunes of Admiral Radley, The Happy Hollows, and DJ Anne Litt.

Admiral Radley is the love child band born out of two formers, Grandaddy and Earlimart. The newly formed band changed their tune from melancholy melodies to more upbeat and chipper lyrics poking fun at the stereotypes of their home state, Cali.  Playing songs from their new album I Heart California, the grizzly bear-looking fellows captivated the audience.

The Happy Hollows took the stage next and lead singer Sarah Negahdari proved she has more than vocal talent; the girl can rock!  Although she ran the risk of scandalous skin-showing with her tights ripped pretty high, no peep shows were involved in her act.

For more free music and art next week, meet us there same time, same place (and every Thursday through the end of July!).
