Drai's was transformed into a lively celeb-studded casino as NBA stars and their glamorous friends walked the red carpet and tried their luck on the poker tables last night to raise charity for cancer research. The Hollywood club was packed with ballers like Derrick Rose, Rajon Rondo and Lamar Odom and their celeb friends and fans.
The athletes teamed up with Power Balance to raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, and had a high-rolling good time doing it. After walking the red carpet and being interviewed by bball player Brandon Jennings, guests flipped their chips, enjoyed yummy appetizers and cocktails, and danced to the tunes of DJ Mr. Best and DJ Spider.
Not a dancer? No problem -- tutu clad ladies worked the stage for guests' entertainment. Familiar faces included Neve Campbell, Ashley Jones, Jerry Ferrara, Lo Bosworth, Macy Gray, Sean Astin, Shannon Elizabeth, Edi Gathegi, Sal Masekela, FeFe Dobson, and Brittny Gastineau. Shaquille O'Neal made an appearance but was only there in spirit, apologizing for his absence via video RSVP, urging the guests to empty their pockets for the good cause. Who says vices can't be virtuous?
