The question we know has been torturing you all morning: where was Jeremy Piven last night? At Madison on 3rd, duh. No, seriously, he was. But he doesn't just like to spend his Thursday nights shopping for ladies' clothing, he also likes to support his friends, namely, Lauren Alexander and April Leight, the designers of LNA (get it, "L" and "A"?). Last night the boutique hosted the brand's spring 2011 collection trunk show with a little soiree at the store's West Hollywood outpost.
We have difficulty stepping foot in there without getting a little manic near the shoes, but guests last night seemed to be able to control themselves with complete socially acceptable behavior as they browsed the merch. The crowd got first dibs on the L.A.-based line's newest collection over cocktails and a taste of the rainbow.
This season, the line that's mastered creating the best go-to cotton basics to be dressed up or down adds a pop of color with some violet and orange, which we mentioned yesterday is a Spring Style Must (see #6). If you weren't on that tip yet you should get familiar... even Piven is a step ahead in the style department.
