[All photos by Andreas Branch for PMc]. Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg premiered their new mini-series "The Pacific" on Wednesday at Grauman’s Theatre. When you are as successful as either of these two, you've earned the right to rock a cap on the red carpet, which is exactly what the latter did. Alexander Skarsgard, Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten, Deborah Ann Woll, Joe Mazzello, Jon Seda, James Badge Dale, and Ron Livingston showed up despite the rain, and opted for the more traditional, formal dress.

“The Pacific,” which officially premiers March 14th on HBO, comes from the same production team behind both Band of Brothers and The Sopranos. We'll see if their successful streak remains consistent. In the mean time, how lovely that they brought along fellow HBO-ers and vampires…HELLO Alexander Skarsgaard.
