Just because it was Oscar weekend did not stop some Los Angelenos from popping into Moet & Chandon's reception for Tom Munro, as the artist opened his exhibition of celebrity portraits.
Having just launched his first book, the photographer was understandably in fantastic spirits, mingling with Justin Timberlake, Jessica Lowndes, Dustin Hoffman, Buzz Aldrin, Miss Jay and even playing with Madonna's hair. Surprisingly, Madge didn't seem to mind, one bit. All that Kabala totally calms her down.
Guests sipped on personal Moet champagne bottles while viewing digitally manipulated (read: trippy and cool) portraits of Lady Gaga, Jude Law, Charlotte Gainsbourg and many other pop culture favorites.
The exhibition continues through the 13th, at 8445 Melrose Place. If you happen to pick up a copy of the book after browsing the pics displayed, know that a portion of proceeds go to some of Munro's favorite charities: Raising Malawi and M.E.A.K.. Nice moves, Muno.
