As opposed to say, New York Fashion Week which showcases collections from the top designers and fashion houses around the world, it's no secret L.A. Fashion Week is nowhere in the same league, and has instead become a celebration of our local fashion culture. Last night, Fashion Group International Los Angeles got a head-start on the LAFW festivities with the Meet The Designer & The Muse event where some of the town's most renowned designers, fashion figures and their muses stepped out for the cause.
