For the first
LAFW event of 2012, as you may have ascertained, FGILA's Meet The Designer & The Muse in association with Concept Fashion Week, held at Ace Gallery along L.A.'s Miracle Mile, honored the special relationship between designer and muse with a red carpet cocktail party.
Notable local designers such as Nony Tochterman of Petro Zillia, Jonny Cota of Skingraft, Yotam Solomon, Jenny Han, Nicholas Bowes, Kevan Hall and Decades' Cameron Silver all walked the carpet before entering the gallery. Strutting down with them were their muses, celebrities and models such as Vanessa Williams, Jamie Chung, Shaun Robinson, Adrienne Maloof, Kiera Smith, Shar Michelle, Kelly Hu and others, who have been sources of inspiration for their collections. Once inside guests enjoyed cocktails and a live performance by Annie Trousseau.
