Jam to some local (and free!) music
You may have missed Coachella and the free Make Music Pasadena Festival but there's still plenty of gnarly free music to take in this summer. If you're willing to make the trek to Pomona, don your finest ironic mustache and cuff your jeans before experiencing the second annual free Moon Block Party, which features local-indie-bands-nobody-has-heard-of-but-sound-great-on-YouTube on June 23rd from 12pm-3am. Seriously though, all reports from last year's festival and this year's Desert Daze (another Palm Springs area festival from the same organizers) make it sound like it'll be a rockin' good time.
