Bottega Louie
Located in the heart of Downtown, this Italian restaurant has developed a cult following since it opened its doors back in 2009, and we totally get why. With plates ranging from burrata, pork chops, artichoke pizza, lobster nage, and their famed portobello fries, the restaurant serves what is arguably some of the best Italian food in L.A. Their patisserie is also worth a mention, as it's fully stocked with huge shelf of rainbow macarons that come in any flavor imaginable--perhaps you've noticed the insanely photogenic deserts posted in your Instagram feed? Situated on the first floor of the historical Brockman Building, Bottega's decor features restored Classical and Roman architecture that gives the space an open and palatial feel to it. In addition to its renowned menu and beautiful decor, Bottega Louie has a laid-back atmosphere which makes for a great Valentine's Day destination. Enjoy the ambiance without committing to a prix-fixe menu and definitely spring for dessert. Bottega Louie 700 South Grand Avenue Los Angeles 90017 [Photos Via Facebook, Facebook]
