Don't want to deal with valet or spend 10 minutes hunting for a parking spot nearby? We have a tip: the Gelson's Market lot one block east on the other side of Bronson. It may be a little risky, but aren't dates are all about taking risks? Also, I've been assured by UCB cast members who shall remain nameless that they park there all the time for shows.
Coffee's always a great way to start a date. But in case the date turns out to be a bust, at least you won't be falling asleep. And if your date turns out to be unbearable, this cafe/bar also serves alcohol. Why wait until after dinner? Though the gritty, technicolor surroundings of Bourgeois Pig may be a strange departure from the usual coffee shop decor, there's enough character, and even a pool table, to keep things spontaneous.
