You may not know his name but you're probably quite familiar with John Terzian's thriving L.A. nightlife repertoire. A native Angeleno (yes, one of the few), Terzian began his career as a student at USC where he formed an events company. After earning his law degree, he founded The h.wood Group in 2007 which has gone on to produce events for Paris Fashion Week, Art Basel, the Super Bowl, Coachella, and Bill Clinton, and is behind top after dark destinations such as Bootsy Bellows, Hooray Henry’s, and SHOREbar, plus a new lounge-club hybrid project in the pipeline. What has made Terzian successful and somewhat of an anomaly in the nightlife world is his unparalleled work ethic, his desire to reinvent L.A. nightlife and his steadfast humbleness.
