Janey Bryant, Cameron Silver Step Out For LACMA's Costume Council Event Honoring Judith Leiber

    Yesterday LACMA's Costume Council played host to a very special event honoring legendary handbag designer Judith Leiber for Judith Leiber: The Style, Legacy, and Story of an American Icon, an exhibition of her creations, panel discussion moderated by the fashion aficionado and Decades founder Cameron Silver, and champagne luncheon with some of L.A.'s top fashion figures and Leiber devotees.

    A crowd of stylish ladies of all ages and some gentleman came together for the event which kicked off with the panel discussion during which Ms. Leiber spoke about surviving the Holocaust, her craft and creating a business from making her exquisite signature bags. Brand President Mary Gleason also spoke for the crowd, addressing her vision for and expansion of the brand. The event wrapped up with beautiful luncheon for the style experts and fashion VIPS including "Mad Men" costume designer Janey Bryant, Abigail Spencer, Amy Teegarden, George Kotsiopoulos, Katie Cassidy, Jonie Smith, Merle Ginsberg, Gus Leiber, Elizabeth Matthews, Ellen Levy-Sarnoff, Judy Chang, Annie Ilonzeh, Sharla Barrett, Doris Alexander, Dori Schneider, Gretchen Shields and Suzi Click.
