LA Shorts Fest 2009 Opens; Scarlett Johanssen Sports New Coiffure

Photos via Getty] Scarlett Johanssen and Courtney Cox both happily strolled the Laemmle's Sunset 5 Theatre red carpet and posed for photogs last night at the 13th Annual LA Shorts Fest 2009 premiere of the film "These Vagabond Shoes". Leaving her golden summer locks behind, Scarlett Johanssen sported a new deep auburn red hair color, perhaps as an ode to the season's uncharacteristically dark weather.

The festival continues through Friday, July 31st and features shorts directed by Demi Moore, Courteney Cox and Scarlett Johansson.  Among the first films to premiere were Cox's "The Monday Before Thanksgiving" and Johansson's "These Vagabond Shoes" with Kevin Bacon.  Moore's "Streak" stars daughter Rumer Willis and screens on Friday.
