Although we, as L.A. residents and/or natives, scoff at the tourists taking cameraphone photos of the stupid Beverly Hills sign as they cruise down Santa Monica Blvd. at 20 m.p.h. in a roofless conversion van, even we're not above the grand pastime of celebrity spotting. Face it: you get a secret thrill when you realize the angry little fellow in front of you in line at 7-Eleven is actually Mel Gibson, and why wouldn't you? But celebrities are people too (well, not Mel necessarily, but you know what I mean), and sometimes they need to find ways to go out without being mobbed. You'd be shocked at how many famous people are hiding in plain sight in these photos from last Saturday night at Lure.
