4. Johnny Depp Plays With The Black Keys

So is this just a thing now? Like everywhere we go, we're going to have to put up with Johnny Depp playing guitar alongside real bands? It certainly looks that way after Johnny came out with the Black Keys for two whole songs last night. I don't want to say he added nothing to the experience, but the Black Keys are a two-person grungy blues-rock band. It's not exactly a style of music that begs to be fleshed out, and the fact that most news outlets are reporting that he was playing the bass (that's a guitar he's holding) should give you some indication of how memorable or noticeable his musical contribution was. And, of course, he's still dressing like he robbed a New Mexico gift shop. You can watch it here.
