Over the week in L.A., Maggie Gyllenhaal spoke at the SundanceTV Luncheon and Panel, Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown, and Karrueche Tran partied hard with Hennessy in honor of their new limited edition bottle by Shepard Fairey, Paris Hilton dropped a single (and threw a party for it—of course), and more!
L.A. was on its worst behavior last night, July 9th, when Thrillist and FX teamed up to throw a Party Against Humanity in honor of the new FX series You're the Worst, at The Den on Sunset in West Hollywood. Just about everyone in the building was seen with a Redd's Apple Ale in hand while DJ Michael Rockstar kept the party going strong. Flatbread pizzas and various other hors d'oeuvres were served to guests as they caught up with one another over custom games of Cards Against Humanity, curated by the Thrillist Editors. A few partygoers even bonded over an intense game of Jenga (and we all know how stressful Jenga could be). The feature that seemed to draw in most of the guests was the set of giant, interactive black cards on the wall, on which people were encouraged to write their own twisted responses to. One of our favorites? The prompt of "Everything was going well, and then ____________," which was met with responses such as "I called her by her mother's name." And that was probably the tamest of the bunch. Still think #YOURETHEWORST? Click through these party photos and think again!

You can spend your day celeb-spotting on Rodeo Drive, and end at Sugarfish sushi in West Hollywood where you might catch a glimpse of Adam Levine and Behati dining on sashimi, or Kylie Jenner and friends chatting over saki (we won't tell, Kylie!). Check out our guide to the top L.A. hot spots to see and be seen. Trust us, you won't be disappointed.

It is a well-known fact that if you analyze the Declaration of Independence closely, you’ll discover our forefathers proclaiming that Americans will from this day on, “Turn down for what?” OK, that may or may not be true; however, it is presumed that our founding forefathers toasted to some boos and celebrated their independence after the original sponsors signed. Since the main men of America knew how to party, we owe it to them to make the Fourth of July an exceptional day. As Americans, this day bestowed upon us innumerable rights—to day drink, BBQ, and party 'til sunrise. That being said, we've rounded up the best bashes to celebrate our independence in Los Angeles this weekend, so click through for your plans.
