On May 14th, Jeremy Penn’s latest art exhibition, "The Gaze, Deconstructing the Moment of Seduction" opened at L’Ermitage Beverly Hills. Penn’s exhibition, inspired by the Parisian 1950s culture, was an engaging and vibrant tribute to the Beverly Hills and Hollywood stimulating culture. The artwork’s colors, lively pinks, yellows, and blues, popped off the wall as Penn deliberately planned for L’Ermitage. The exhibition is one that asks guests to “deconstruct the portal to the inner soul through the eyes of his subject". Even if you missed the opening, you can still check out the exhibition, which runs at the hotel through September 2014. Love the art? Lucky for you, it's available for sale through JL Art Advisory.

She may be used to "shaking it up" on stage, but 17-year-old Zendaya Coleman (or simply, in a Madonna-esque way, Zendaya) has recently taken on a much more fickle beast—the world of fashion. If Miley and Selena Gomez are any indication, Disney darlings can do very well with the big designers as they mature into more lucrative careers and high-fashion Hollywood style, sitting front row at Fashion Week alongside the likes of editorial royalty and certified A-Listers. But with her legions of young fans (her Twitter following is currently over 4 million), the multifaceted starlet is turning into quite the A-Lister herself, having set her stylish sights on everything from theater and dance to music and movies. All that and she even found time to publish a book. And people say teenagers these days are lazy! Click through to meet Zendaya, since it's more than likely you'll be seeing her at a star-studded event near you.

It wouldn't be summer in Los Angeles without a trip (or 2 or 3) to the Hollywood Bowl. Nestled against the backdrop of the sprawling Hollywood Hills and infamous white city sign, the nearly 18,000-seat amphitheater is the perfect locale to listen to the likes of Tchaikovsky’s classical compositions, view the annual July 4th fireworks spectacular, participate in the beloved Grease sing-a-long and see legendary acts like Radiohead, Stevie Wonder and Hall & Oates. And no outing to the Bowl would be complete without enjoying a picnic under the balmy California sun. Thankfully, there are a surplus of eateries around Los Angeles offering pre-made and custom options for those Bowl bound. Click through to learn more about where you can get alfresco dining to go this season.
