CA Prop 8 Judge Rules For A Hold On Same-Sex Marriage

Moments ago, federal judge Vaughn Walker, ruled to extend a temporary hold on gay marriages to give Prop 8 supporters time to appeal his ruling to strike down California's ban on same-sex marriage.

Judge Walker made history last Wednesday when he overturned Prop 8, CA's ban on same-sex marriage, finding it unconstitutional.  Today's measure allows Prop 8 sponsors until August 18th to formally appeal his overturning of the ban. This means CA same-sex couples can't get married until that date if anti-gay marriage supporters have not appealed Walker's ruling. For more on the story go HERE.
