There's definitely no shortage of tastefully demure bars or swanky lounges to hit up across L.A. on those nights when you don't feel like getting sweaty at a club that feels like a high school party, but had a long workday that's left you thirsty for a drink. Indeed there are a myriad of joints like this in Hollywood alone, but in our neck of the woods (West Third Street/Mid-City near Cedars) lowkey nightlife of this kind is seemingly hard to come by since the neighborhood, though sprinkled with great eateries, tends to simmer down around 10pm. Thankfully, there is a solution for these nighttime needs, and its name is Duplex.
