    If you're scrambling to make arrangements for Mother's Day this weekend or are unsure of the place you picked to take mom, this list of L.A. restaurants could help save you from turning the mom's day into the anniversary of your big fat blunder. Los Angeles Magazine has made it a whole lot easier for you with their list of the best Mother's Day restaurants and deals happening in town.  Make mom happy on her day, she deserves it. And it's also in your best interest.

    The Belvedere at the Peninsula Hotel

    For the person who doesn't mind blowing some cash ($105/person) to indulge mom in a fancy three-course gourmet meal and free-flowing champagne. Their brunch menu for the occasion will be available from 11am-9pm. [photo via]

    For a wallet-friendly outing with some live jazz, this is a great option.  The two-course brunch menu will available from 10:30am-2pm but make sure to be there after 12pm if you want to catch the jazz band. [photo via]
