A-Ha Bids L.A. Farewell With Two Shows At Club Nokia

    Over the weekend Norwegian synth-pop band A-Ha played two sold out shows at downtown's Club Nokia. The venue was packed both nights with fans of the 80s band who just had to see them perform "Take On Me" for the very last time on this side of the pond.  The shows marked the end of the band's seven-city North American leg of their farewell tour. Fans were definitely in the A-Ha spirit, showing off Norwegian flags to proclaim their allegiance to the European nation and its most famous 80s synth-pop group.

    Even though "Take On Me" was a smash hit over 25 years ago, everyone knows it and the last time you heard it was probably not too long ago since it's included on almost every 80s mix.  Does anyone remember the music video? Were you even alive when it came out? It was super cutting-edge at the time for it's combination of live action and pencil-sketch animation and won six MTV Video Music Awards in 1986.
