The Troubadour
If you've ever read this concert calendar before, you know how I feel about The Troubadour. I'd probably go see Menudo at The Troubadour, just to grab a few Bud Heavies and eat fries with Sonny, the amazing chef/poet/institution who was pounding out syllables with Bukowski on that same bartop 35 years ago. But I digress, given that Dead Sara is a dynamic up-and-coming blues/metal/rock band featuring girls that can really bring the noise while carefully avoiding the ghetto-isation of the dreaded "girl rock" label.
