Wilco at The Hollywood Palladium

When one of the most accomplished, widely beloved rock/alt-country bands in the history of ever comes to town, it's an event. Luckily, Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy knows what a draw his group is these days, having recently released their 8th album to the kind of universal critical acclaim that, frankly, is expected at this point. So Wilco's going to be in town for a few days, playing the Palladium on Tuesday, the Wiltern on Wednesday, and the Los Angeles Theatre on Friday. You really can't go wrong, as the Wiltern and L.A. Theatre are gorgeous, historic L.A. locations, but if you have the choice, why not see them at the spacious Palladium, where you can wander through the general-admission crowd at your own leisure?
