Galactic at El Rey Theatre

Hailing from New Orleans, Galactic continues its Carnivale Electricos tour, bringing the Brazilian inspired electronic funk pop of their latest album to fans everywhere.  Having cut their performing teeth playing Mardi Gras parties in N.O. from the time they were undergrads in the mid '90s, you can rest assured that Galactic always brings their A-game. Plus, they'll have warmed up with a mini-set on "Conan" before the show at the El Rey. Expect big, funky fun and an appearance by guest vocalist (and a personal hero) Corey Glover, of Living Colour fame.
