Slide #1

via @little_miss_disaster Following last month's Sound City Players concert at the Palladium in support of his documentary, Sound City: Real to Reel, based on the legendary recording studio, Grohl once again rallied his fellow rockers to join him in a show for a taping of "Kimmel." Last night's version of the mega-group dubbed the Sound City Players included major rock figures such as John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Rick Springfield, Hawkins, Lee Ving of Fear, Novoselic, Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick and other famed musicians who once recorded at the now defunct Sound City recording studio. The Sound City Players concert brought together these dynamic performers in front of the bright neon lights of the El Capitan Theater for a crowd of mostly free "Jimmy Kimmel Live" RSVP ticket holders who were lucky enough to attend the awesome spectacle and witness rock greatness. Keep clicking through this slideshow of some of the best Instagrams we've rounded up to see Dave Grohl and the Sound City Players rocking Hollywood Boulevard last night. via @grottescanoemi Sound City Players [Photo via @chrimedi]
