Big Black Delta @ The Port Of Los Angeles Lobster Festival
Did someone say Lobster Festival? Cool, I'm already in the car wearing my white plastic bib. Oh, and there's going to be live music? So basically my ideal day all of my favorite activities—seeing live outdoor music, day drinking, and eating lobster—is happening this weekend. See you there? Sure, I'm a bit biased in my recommendation of this show, but to be fair, I didn't realize Big Black Delta's performance was happening at the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival until after I selected it as one of this week's shows to see. So the whole lobster pig out wonderland part is just an extremely awesome bonus you can enjoy as you experience the solo project of Jonathan Bates and his electro-laced indie rock.
