This weekend, downtown's Grand Hope Park played host to the kickoff of the Outdoor Cinema Food Fest summer series. For the first of eight Saturday nights, the OCFF screened the cult classic, Swingers, on the west coast's largest outdoor movie screen as guests picnicked with a spread of delicacies from the city's top mobile eateries.

Food trucks Cool Haus, Komodo Food, Munchie Machine, Frysmith, and Barbie’s Q lined the park's perimeter offering the crowd a variety of sweet and savory options before it was time to get cozy in a flannel blanket and watch Vince Vaughn in his prime. And booze? Yes, rest assured there was a bar set up with plenty of cocktails, beer, and wine to go around all through the night.

Whether on a romantic date, group get-together of friends, or a family night out, guests of all ages enjoyed the night's offerings. And really, what's not to like about an array of tasty foods while watching a one of the better films to come out of the 90s?

Want to get in on the action? You can! For the next seven Saturdays, OCFF will be held at a new location, featuring a new movie and food truck lineup each week. Just remember to bust out the hoodies and flannels to keep warm and comfy during upcoming screenings of classics like The Breakfast Club and the hit comedy, The Hangover.
