The Roger Room Debuts New Summer Cocktails TONIGHT

by Emily Green · July 7, 2010

As if The Roger Room didn't have enough novel libations with exotic ingredients like cucumber foam, nutmeg, and habanero peppers to push you out of your cocktail comfort zone, the menu will debut five new additions tonight.  The hidden-in-plain-sight bar with tarot card neon signs and surprisingly genial doormen -- no, no, gentlemen at the door-- will be featuring these new mixology creations on their "Also" menu, a supplemental list of seasonal drinks. CarolineOnCrack was a able to sneak a few samples of the new cocktails before they go public and filled us in on the drinks' deets:

Algonquin ($13): Pikesville Rye, pineapple juice, pineapple syrup, Dry Vermouth, served up

Let’s Get Lost ($14): Tres Reyes Blanco Tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, cucumber, mint, on the rocks

Pisco Punch ($14): Gran Sierpe Pisco, Mata Hari Absinthe, lime juice, pineapple syrup, pineapple juice, crushed grapes, served over crushed ice

Star Strega Swizzle ($14): Starr Rum, Liquore Strega, Velvet Falernum, passion fruit, lemon juice, cracked clove, served over crushed ice

Stranger Than Paradise ($14): Plymouth Gin, lemon juice, egg white, absinthe mist, crushed strawberry, served up

...One of each, please! Don't know about you guys, but each of these sounds delicious to us. But maybe we're biased since we're fans of both sweet/tart summer flavors and alcohol.

If you want to be one of the first people on EARTH to try these cocktail delights, then get to Roger Room tonight for their grand introduction. If you can't make it tonight but still want a taste of the new "Also" drinks, get in there sometime before summer's over while they're still on the menu!
