The Bowery Construction Project, Paving The Yellow Brick Road To Hipster Oz

No we aren’t talking about a Wizard of Oz metaphor for an antiquated gold standard debate.  Rather, a metaphor for what has now become the hipster haven of Manhattan, the Bowery.  And soon it will have brand new streets, free of potholes, and ready for people to jet down to places like the Bowery Hotel.

In the midst of CMJ Music Festival Craziness, the city has decided it was the perfect time to dive into this massive construction and paving work on the Bowery.  And there you have it, The Bowery is currently closed from Houston Street all the way to Delancey.
