OMFG! Teen Magazine is DUNZO!
Can you believe it? This, along with "Seventeen" were like the BEST thing that happened to me each month as a Jr. High student. WWD Media has just reported that their Winter '08 issue will be their last. "We will continue to publish the annual Teen Prom issue but will focus our teen publishing efforts on the Seventeen brand." Teenmag.com will be absorbed into the Hearst Teen Network of sites.
Sad day in teenville.

Plovgh, the new online farmers market
Who knew that the farming world had a trend? Well, Mallory Sustick, a Brooklyn bartender, works like a dog to maintain, promote and advance the online farmer's market startup Plovgh that began after noticing a need for more local farm market distribution.

ZOMG I know! Amanda and Stacey told me this in Social Studies! This economy is terrible. What's next? BOP or Tiger Beat? What will I do without my poster pullout of Mike Seaver and That Guy From Boy Meets World? WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO HANG UP IN MY LOCKER NOW, HEARSTIES???
