With numerous blockbusters under her belt, including 500 Days of Summer, Yes Man, & Almost Famous, as well as the lead roll in the TV series New Girl, Zooey Deschanel is an unbelievably accomplished actress. In addition to acting Deschanel is part of the musical duo, She & Him. Interestingly, Deschanel met her band mate, M. Ward, on set of an independent film she starred in, The Go-Getter. The director, Martin Hynes, introduced them to each other and asked for them to produce a song for the ending credits. Deschanel plays the piano, ukulele, and sings, while Ward produces, and plays the guitar. Together, along with Merge Records, they launched their first album entitled, Volume One.
