[Chloë Sevigny and Ben Cho at Beatrice Inn]
Speaking of Beatrice Inn, apparently they have a "mix" on iTunes. We have yet to confirm if this is an official compilation from a legitimate Beatrice DJ, but in case you care, here are the songs that only the hippest of the hip are listening to (on repeat):
The Skin of My Yellow Country (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah)
Float on (Modest Mouse)
Young Folks (Peter Bjorn and John)
Love Will Tear Us Apart (Joy Division)
When the Sun Goes Down (Arctic Monkeys)
Sunday Bloody Sunday (U2)
Up Against the Wall (Peter Bjorn and John)
Icky Thump (The White Stripes)
Tainted Love (Soft Cell)
What Ever Happened? (The Strokes)
Runaround Sue (Dion)
Rich Girl (Daryl Hall & John Oates)
Like a Rolling Stone (Bob Dylan)
Someday (The Strokes)
My Sharona (The Knack)
So is this for real or isn't it? Does anybody care? Well it may as well be legitimate; however, isn't it a little perplexing that there is no A.R.E. Weapon songs on there?? It is the owner Paul Sevigny's band (brother of fashionista Chloë Sevigny of course, pictured above at Beatrice dancing the night away with designer Ben Cho). Anyway, at least you now know what you can do to feel almost as cool as actually getting into the Inn. Just go download their mix, and play it on repeat in your own apartment, where you don't have to worry about someone capturing you at your finest during a dance off and then showing it on their blog the next day.
