We are seeking an Event Sales Manager, ideally a self-starter who is highly motivated to develop business relationships and has a passion for selling and customer service. This person needs to be able to manage our photographers, our daily calendar, build client relations and sales, understand the event and nightlife scene of the city and be a positive brand ambassador.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Maintain NYC and Global calendar listings on GofG site -Coordinate editorial coverage of all NYC events -Head up photography and marketing sales to event organizers -Outreach to potential new clients and new business development -Manage interns in NYC office -Serve as leader for GofG event managers in other cities -Answer photo-related customer service emails
Desired qualifications: -3+ years of work experience in sales, marketing, PR or related field -Bachelor's degree -Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment -Passion for customer service and great interpersonal/management skills -Highly motivated and organized personality
