Despite the gloomy weather, art lovers gathered at the Frederich Petzl Gallery for ArtSeen, benefiting the New York Foundation for the Arts. Guests were privy to a silent auction while sipping on cocktails from a bar coordinated by The Bubble Lounge. PR superstar Bettina Prentice (who seems to be everywhere these days!) served as one of the benefit’s co-chairs and greeted people at the door.  More story and photos below...

Also on hand were Blackbook’s Cayte Grieve, Kristian Laliberte, Emma Snowdon-Jones, Tia Walker, Alex McCord & Simon van Kempen, David Chines, Ali Weiss, Carol Han, and Sarah Basile. The space was filled with artists to art collectors to those who just wanted to share in the great cause. It was an amazing turnout and a very fun event. The most creative part of the evening? Definitely the decorative hats worn by NYFA supporters…the Beanie Baby one definitely took the cake! The NYFA was founded in 1971 and strives to raise money to help empower artists by providing $1 million dollars in grants for emerging artists. Their fiscal sponsorship program is the largest and most established in the country, and provides everything from creating artist portfolios to individual mentoring.
