photo of the artist's studio, which is why the new showing of William Beckman's work is a must-see. The painter, whose eye for detail and hyperrealism is uncanny, has been showing his art in New York since the 1960s and it's no wonder that he's still making a buzz. His latest exhibition at Forum Gallery features 16 new pieces created since 2008, including stunning oil portraits of both still life and the human form, as well as pastel landscapes of the midwest.
