David Lyle, Misbehaving
In Misbehaving, artist David Lyle recreates vintage photography from 1950's and 60's America, and integrates his work with different, often unexpected sources. Paintings feature characters like Winnie the Pooh, Elmo, and the Tin Man, whose appearances offers a fresh perspective on childhood and nostalgia. Through April 28 at Lyons Wier Gallery, 542 West 24th Street Opening Reception: Thursday, April 5, 6-8pm For more information, go HERE. [Photo via]
