Lumen International Performance Festival

Remember how it didn't snow this winter? Turns out, the city's stockpile of deicing salt--about 150,000 tons of it--is still sitting in a warehouse in Staten Island, which so happens to be the location of the Lumen International Performance Festival. This Saturday, artists will be using this crystal mountain as a projection screen for videos, and will be converting shipping containers and other Atlantic Salt Company warehouses into performance spaces as well.

Date: Saturday, June 23, 6pm-midnight

Where: Atlantic Salt Company, with shuttles from the Staten Island Ferry
